International Peace Day
Empowering women and promoting peace go hand in hand. To mark the occasion of International Peace Day, PEACE CLUB of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh in collaboration with Chandigarh Police and Yuvsatta (NGO), took a significant step towards addressing violence against women. Dr. (Mrs.) Richa Sharma welcomed Mr. Sanjay and Ms. Sonia from Chandigarh Women and Child Support Unit, Sector-17, Chandigarh. The resource person highlighted the need for community involvement, legal awareness, and support systems to empower women and protect their rights. This awareness session played a crucial role in addressing gender-based violence, promoting peace, and encouraging collective action.
