28.04.2022Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector-36 B, Chandigarh in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India organized Interactive Workshop on Vulnerabilities on “Cyber Space- How to secure yourself to educate Youth about Cyber Hygiene” under NSS Unit of the college on 28th April, 2022 at 10 a.m. The purpose of this event was to make students aware about Cyber Crime and Cyber Security. Mr. Samarth Sharma, Consultant MGNCRE, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India was the Guest of Honour and Mr. Gurcharan Singh, Faculty Member for Cyber Crimes, Central Detective Training Institute was the resource person for this workshop. He highlighted the need of becoming aware of misuses of technology and to avoid being a victim of such crimes in today’s era. Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education motivated the students by highlighting the need for awareness of cyber crimes in this contemporary world.
