Career Development and Placement Services

The college has a separate Career Development and Placement Cell which is an integral part of the institute. It ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements for placing its students in premier institutions. It also conducts training programs for the students to enable them to face interviews. These programmes include workshops on self esteem, presentation skills, communication skills and mock personal interviews etc. Many reputed schools and institutes send their requisition to the college for qualified and competent teachers namely Carmel Convent School, Sector 9/B, Chandigarh, NIIT Chandigarh Centre, Sector 32/D, Chandigarh, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula, D.A.V. Senior Secondary School, Sector 8/C, Chandigarh, Golden Earth Global School, Sangrur, I.S. Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sector 22, Chandigarh etc..

Campus Placement Drive
The Placement Cell remains in constant touch with the prospective employers to intimate their human resource requirement. On learning the requirements, a mutually agreeable date is fixed for holding interview at the college campus and the candidates are guided and trained for the demonstrations and interviews. During the last couple of years, four on campus placement interviews were conducted by the various schools from and outside the city. Since the inception of the placement cell a good number of students have secured jobs in various educational institutions. Many students have been benefitted through the placement cell by means of their recommendations to various institutions. The request for the teachers is received telephonically or through personal contact. The college takes a prompt action to place its students by contacting them on phone and informing them about the place and time of interview.

Number of Students have benefited by Placement Cell in the Last Two years
Every Year the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling organise career fair either in the college premises or in different schools for the school students especially for 10th class in which they disseminate information regarding the various career options and answer the queries posed by the students. Its main purpose is to bring awareness about the latest career options available and motivate them and to help them to choose career best suited to them. The students are also recruited under the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme of the government. Forty-nine students have benefited from the placement cell of the college either through campus placements or by recommending them to various institutions.
